Such a curry chicken I've made in the past, but never before have I put the cinnamon sticks, cardamom and star anise. Taste changes they make a lot more authentic!
_________________________________________________________________________________ Recipe Great Indian recipe book - the book classic chicken curry 4 tbsp vegetable oil 4 whole cloves 4 to 6 whole green cardamom 3 star anise 5 cm piece of cinnamon sticks 6 to 8 curry leaves 1 large onion, finely chopped 5 cm piece of fresh ginger, grated 4 cloves of garlic 4 tablespoons mild currytahnaa (I used 2 tbsp) 1 tsp turmeric 1.5 kg Jacket Potatoes cut into large chunks (I used only 500g) 1 can (400g) chopped salmon recipes tomatoes 1 1/4 cup coconut salmon recipes cream (I used coconut milk) pinch of sugar or honey salt lots of fresh coriander, chopped
Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, star anise and curry leaves over low heat for about 5 minutes. salmon recipes Add the onion, ginger, garlic and fry for a minute. Then add turmeric and curry paste. Fry for a few minutes. Add the chicken pieces and fry stick surfaces. Let it simmer under the lid while. Add the crushed tomatoes and coconut cream. Season with more sugar and salt. Let it simmer uncovered until the chicken is cooked through. Finally, add the fresh coriander. Serve with rice!
