Receta Caro's Special Tilapia with Vegetables Serve 4 Ingredients 4 medium tilapia 3 tbsp chopped cilantro to garnish 1/2 cup chopped celery 1 medium onion, sliced 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced 1/2 yellow bell pepper, sliced 4 tomatoes, in quarters 2 tbsp olive oil 2 cloves garlic, minced black pepper salt Preparation cottage cheese Season the tilapia with salt and pepper. Add 2 tablespoons olive oil in a medium skillet. Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds to infuse the oil with the garlic at medium heat. Add onions and celery. Cook for 1 minute Add peppers. Cook for 45 minutes. Add the tilapia. Cook for about 3 minutes to medium heat cottage cheese and carefully turn the tilapia. cottage cheese Add the tomatoes around and cook for approximately 5 minutes at low heat. Cover with a lid. The tilapia will be infused with the flavors of the vegetables. Removed from the stove and sprinkle with cilantro or parsley. Another good salad that I recommend to you (my favorite one- Caro’s Fresh Salad with Mint and Honey) to accompany the tilapia especially in the beautiful days of spring or summer is a delicious salad made with mango, avocado, onion, grapefruit, urugula , lettuce and spinach seasoned with mint, pepper, cottage cheese olive oil, lemon juice and a touch of honey and garnished with grated ginger. This salad is perfect because salt is no need it. Some tips : For the kids - very important - they do not like very much vegetables, you can serve the tilapia cottage cheese with a little green salad and some baby carrots and a glass of apple juice. Ingredientes 4 Tilapias mediana 3 cdas de cilantro picadas 1/2 taza de celery picado 1 cebolla mediana rebanada 1/2 pimiento rojo en juliana. 1/2 pimiento amarillo en juliana. 4 tomates picados en cuartos 2 cdas de acite de oliva 2 dientes de ajo picados bien delgado. Pimienta negra Preparacion Sazona las tilapias con un poco de sal y pimienta. Agrega 2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva en una sarten mediana y agregale el ajo. Cocinalo por 30 segundos para que el aceite se infuse con el ajo a fuego medio. Luego agregas la cebolla y lo cocinas por 1 minuto. Le agregas el celery y los pimientos. Agrega la tilapia. Ccocina por 3 minutos y cuidadosamente la volteas, le agregas los tomates alrededor y la dejas cocinas por 5 minutos mas a fuego medio bajo y lo puedes tapar si quieres para que la tilapia se infuse con los sabores de los vegetales. Ya una vez listo lo apagamos y le rociamos un poco de cilantro o perejil.El que te guste más. Te grarantizo que tu boca se te hará agua porque a medidas que vas agregando los vegetales los sabores irán aromatizando no solo la tilapia sino también tu cocina y es una receta muy saludable, fácil, deliciosa y versatil.
La tilapia la he acompañado con una ensalada de cebollas marinada con jugo de limón, trozos de pimentón, celery, mango y aguacate y el aderazo 2 cdas de aceite de oliva, 1cdta de pasta de ají amarillo peruano, un toque de sal y pimienta Si les gusta las pueden colocar encima de una capa de capa de lechuga, espinaca y urugula.
